The UK School for INNER SOUND (2005)
is a recent addition to the European training centers established
in collaboration with the co-founders of INNER SOUND, Arden & Jack
Wilken.
INNER SOUND International runs the School for INNER SOUND, an educational
program developed to teach different elements of this sound therapy
system. We offer a selection of different courses - both practitioner
& non-practitioner training - which are open to everyone. Trainings
include: Tuning Forks, the OM Flute, Autophonetics (voice) & Sound
Therapist Practitioner Certificate using our recorded healing music
- for the purposes of creating well-being and relaxation. INNER
SOUND can also be used for personal development.
No previous experience is required to attend any of our introductory
or basic level courses and you can also study on a distance learning
as well as on a presence basis.
During the past 30 years, INNER SOUND has developed an extensive
range of therapeutic music & sound therapy based on the use of specific
melodies & rhythmic patterns that create change on a mental, emotional,
physical and energetic basis. It is a system developed for the expression
and integration of the emotions.
Through her investigations composing Personal Music for thousands
of individuals, Arden Wilken has identified over 50 short melodies
or musical phrases with specific effects that promote movement and
restore balance in different systems in the body and releases tensions
relating to different emotional themes.
The INNER SOUND motifs are fundamental to all the techniques we
offer, giving you different ways you can use them to release emotional
blockages & tensions in your body. The motifs can be applied as
'pure' sound in sequences of pairs of tuning forks that are placed
near the ears; you can listen to them as part of the musical recordings
that are enhanced with psychoacoustic effects; or you can learn
to sing them using simple exercises to help enhance & integrate
their effect as you do.
