Would you like to add your
profile to our website?
Do you have an article you'd
like to submit or news/comments you'd like to share about your work
with sound and music?
Perhaps you present workshops
or trainings on a regular basis which you'd like the public to know
about?
This website offers a networking
forum for sound therapists based in the UK - primarily - but if
you are based elsewhere in the world and you'd like to add your
details to our site we'd be happy to hear from you too.
Ultimately our aim is to create
enough critical mass to form an association of sound therapists
here in the UK. Whilst there are many experienced and skilled people
in our field - from all sorts of backgrounds - we don't yet have
an official association that celebrates our diversity and offers
the public and professional organisations a point of contact for
learning more about us and the therapeutic benefits sound &
music have to offer. That will come in time so if you are interested
in being a part of creating that, let us know so we can tell you
about the meetings we're holding - we'd love to have you participate.
If you would like to add your
profile to this site, please send us the following:
1) a brief introductory description
to your profile page (30 words) which will appear on a link page;
2) a detailed summary or profile
of you and your particular interest in or work with sound/music
(up to 500 words);
3) a jpeg photo - please keep
the resolution low so the pages won't take ages to load!
4) your website address and
contact details (these will be placed with your profile)
To promote our community, we
ask you to place a reciprocal link on your own website so that visitors
to your site can learn about us too.
If you wish to send an article
for submission on the website, please email it to us either as a
word document or as a pdf which will be made available as a file
download and this will be added to our Articles Page, which will
be created as soon as we start receiving articles!
